3/17/2023 0 Comments Twitch fortniteFortnite has the lion's share of viewers on twitch and people flock to it with hundreds or thousands of viewers watching at a time. "But how will I get noticed?" Honestly? You probably won't, not with that attitude. Take advantage of reading over the patch notes to get your viewers hype about the new week and the new objectives available, they always make good conversation starters. "The game updates often" Almost weekly! And if you're going to stream the game regularly, you'll also want to keep it updated to avoid any delays in your uptime. It's also pretty well optimized which makes even the more wimpy streaming setups work for showing off your skills (or lack of). "The game isn't very hard drive heavy" Fortnite is 26 GB, which is very modest for shooters now a days. There are tutorials, videos, gameplay examples, discussions and more both on Reddit, on youtube, and the many streamers online now. "But I want to be good :(" Good news! This game isn't new and has one of the widest public communities. It's all about entertainment, and if you're there to entertain your viewers, sometimes being able to laugh it off and converse is better than securing that chicken dinner. "I'm bad at the game tho :(" That's fine! Some of the best streamers out there suck at video games. These objectives and little mini missions not only add variety to your stream, but can unlock goodies for your own dwindling serotonin levels. "WTF is a season" Fortnite updates it's games in "Seasons" and "Weeks" with different cosmetics, and different objectives to achieve past 'get that big W dude.'. Up for four people can run and gun and honestly that's the best way to differentiate yourself from the 'pro players'. There's plenty of Solo players on stream, but they're missing a huge part of the game. "Fortnite is a Party Game" Surprise, this Battle Royale has all the bells and whistles of a full fledged party game. "Fortnite isn't real! It can't hurt me!" You scream as I tape over your mouth and pull out a 1996 era powerpoint presentation. "This is bait!" You protest as I duct-tape your legs to your gamer chair. The builda-shoota-whatever a thon still has well over 100k viewers and to the average streamer, it'd be real dope to get a slice of that Epic Games pie. Despite the best efforts of seemingly every 'true gamer' and the beseeching of several gods, new and old.
